Builder

As a Builder you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures on various construction sites. This role involves working closely with the construction team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The builder must have a strong background in construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand tools and power tools.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, and shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structures.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications and project plans.
Inspect and verify the accuracy of work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Identify and resolve any issues or defects in construction work.
Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
Ensure that construction sites are safe and free of hazards.
Clean up work areas after completion of tasks.
Adhere to safety regulations and protocols on all construction sites.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team, including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and laborers.
Communicate effectively with the construction manager and project foreman regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Qualification/Experience
Proven experience as a Builder or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
