Job Title: Laboratory Technician - Soil

About Us:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Ekiti. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various construction laboratory tests, including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, and field tests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, or aggregate.
2. Assist in secondary testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt for permeability, strength, and material acceptance.
3. Record samples according to applicable construction standards.
4. Compile and input testing results.
5. Ensure the laboratory complies with accreditation standards.
6. Record and maintain equipment calibration and verification.
7. Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of School Certificate and/or OND, with experience working in a construction laboratory for Laboratory Assistants.
2. Degree/HND in Civil Engineering/Technology or Geosciences required for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
3. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience in a construction laboratory, including soil testing, asphalt, concrete, and field testing.
4 Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
5. Ability to run different laboratory tests accurately.
