Live Language Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Live Language Teacher to deliver engaging, interactive live classes, provide real-time support to students, and develop high-quality teaching materials. This role is integral to fostering an effective and enjoyable learning environment, aligning with curriculum objectives, and maintaining accurate activity records.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct interactive live language classes, offering real-time support to students.
Design comprehensive teaching guides tailored to live sessions, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals.
Track attendance and student participation during live classes using detailed logs and metrics.
Ensure punctuality and consistent delivery of scheduled classes.
Monitor and enhance student engagement using participation metrics such as polls, questions, and activity completion.
Gather and analyze student feedback to evaluate teaching effectiveness and satisfaction levels.
Maintain detailed records of student support queries, providing timely resolutions and documenting outcomes.
Document and log progress in developing teaching guides, from drafts to finalized materials.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to improve teaching content and methods based on constructive feedback.

Requirements:

Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Igbo, Yoruba, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
At least 3 years of experience in language teaching, preferably in an online, live, interactive setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to constructively analyze and respond to student feedback.
Familiarity with online teaching tools and metrics for tracking student participation (preferred).
Creativity and adaptability in developing engaging teaching materials and lesson plans.
