About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and certified Drone Pilot to join our team in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating drones for data collection, mapping, and surveying purposes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in drone operation and maintenance, and the ability to work effectively in the field.

Key Responsibilities
Operate drones to capture high-quality aerial imagery and spatial data for GIS and mapping projects.
Plan and execute drone missions, including site assessments and flight path planning.
Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of drone equipment.
Process and analyze collected aerial data to generate actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety protocols for UAV operations.
Collaborate with GIS analysts and other team members to integrate drone-captured data into enterprise systems.
Document flight activities, data collection processes, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in drone operations, preferably for GIS, surveying, or mapping projects.
Certifications: UAV/drone pilot certification (e.g., FAA Part 107 or equivalent).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating various drone platforms and processing data using software such as Pix4D, DJI Terra, or related tools.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Other Requirements:
Strong understanding of flight planning and safety protocols.
Ability to work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying conditions.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
