MedClinix 24 Medical Diagnostics Centre is located in Mowo, Badagry.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our team at MedClinix 24 Medical Diagnostics Centre. The Driver will be responsible for providing transportation services to our patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring their safety, comfort, and timely arrival at their destinations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Must have a valid driver's licence
- Safely operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, or shuttle buses, to transport patients, staff, and equipment to and from designated locations, such as medical appointments, diagnostic tests, and other healthcare facilities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to check for any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns, reporting any issues to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of company vehicles, including regular cleaning, refueling, and scheduling routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, providing assistance as needed, such as helping patients with mobility aids or carrying belongings.
- Coordinate transportation schedules and routes with the transportation coordinator or supervisor to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, vehicle maintenance, and passenger transport activities, completing logbooks, trip reports, and other documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and dispatchers to coordinate transportation requests, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitizing vehicles regularly to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Represent the medical center in a professional manner at all times, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and empathy towards patients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

- Minimuim of a secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a healthcare or medical transportation setting.
- Excellent driving skills, with a strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and other road users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to reliability, punctuality, and excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and transport patients and equipment as required.
