Housing TV Africa is a leading broadcast platform committed to delivering credible and timely news on housing, real estate, the economy and national affairs. We are looking for an experienced TV News Anchor to join our newsroom in Abuja or surrounding areas.

The right candidate will bring at least four years of on-air experience, a strong broadcast presence and the ability to connect with audiences while maintaining the highest journalistic standards.

Key Responsibilities
-Present daily news bulletins, breaking news and special programs with clarity and authority.
-Research, write and edit scripts that reflect Housing TV Africa’s editorial style.
-Conduct engaging interviews with industry experts, policymakers and thought leaders.
-Work closely with producers, reporters and technical teams to deliver smooth broadcasts.
-Stay informed on housing, real estate, finance and national issues to provide relevant coverage.
-Uphold journalistic integrity, editorial policies and ethical standards at all times.
-Represent Housing TV Africa at events, conferences and official functions.
-Connect with audiences across television and digital platforms including social media.

Qualifications & Skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies or a related field.
-At least four years’ proven experience as a TV News Anchor or Broadcast Journalist.
-Strong editorial judgment and the ability to perform under pressure in live broadcasts.
-Excellent on-air presentation, communication and storytelling skills.
-Proficiency in news writing, editing and using a teleprompter.
-Professional appearance with a confident camera presence and strong voice delivery.
-Willingness to work evenings, weekends and during breaking news coverage.

Preferred Attributes
-Knowledge of housing, business and economic reporting is an advantage.
-Familiarity with newsroom software, studio production and digital platforms.
-Strong online presence and ability to engage audiences.
