Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The successful candidate will develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management

• Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, ISM) is an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors.

• Evaluate and negotiate prices with selected suppliers.

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Manage the procurement process, including requisitioning, purchasing, and expediting.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reports.

• Analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies.

• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and requirements.

• Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance.

• Manage quality-related issues and defects with suppliers.

• Prepare and submit procurement reports to management.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement plans
