Data Scientist

Job Purpose:
- To extract valuable insights from data, bridging the gap between raw information and actionable recommendations. You’ll analyze diverse datasets, develop predictive models, and inform strategic decision-making processes as part of the company's digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Cleaning:
- Gather data from various sources (internal databases, APIs, external datasets).
- Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Analysis and Interpretation:
- Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive models.
- Extract meaningful insights from data to address business challenges.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.

Business Impact:
- Collaborate with business teams to understand goals and objectives.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Drive improvements in processes, products, or services based on data-driven insights.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or R.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in Databricks or Azure ML.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
