Job Overview:
The Office Cleaner/Security Personnel/Messenger is responsible for maintaining a clean and
secure office environment, handling internal and external deliveries, and supporting office
operations. This multi-role position ensures that the premises are safe, clean, and efficiently
managed while also facilitating smooth communication and document delivery between
departments and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning Duties:
o Clean all office areas, including floors, desks, restrooms, and common spaces.
o Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop daily to maintain a tidy environment.
o Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal efficiently.
o Ensure that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and report any supply
needs to the Administrative Officer.
o Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning,
and furniture polishing.
2. Security Duties:
o Monitor office premises during work hours to ensure the safety of staff and
visitors. Check and verify the identity of individuals entering the office premises.
o Ensure all office doors and windows are securely locked after business hours.
o Respond to and report any suspicious activity to the Administrative Officer
immediately.
o Patrol the office premises and monitor security systems (e.g., CCTV) as
necessary.
