Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced electrical service engineer to join our team at AMDEETEL NIGERIA LTD. As a key member of our electrical services department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnostics and repair of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  2. Analysis and resolution of electrical faults to minimize downtime.
  3. Installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for new projects or upgrades.
  4. Verification of system performance against design specifications.
  5. Participation in electrical service projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
  6. Coordination with direct manager and other departments, vendors, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  7. Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international electrical standards.
  8. Promotion and enforcement of workplace safety protocols, adhering to HSE standards.
  9. Maintenance of accurate records of service activities, inspections, and system performance.
  10. Preparation of detailed technical reports and recommendations for improvements.
  11. Providing professional assistance to expatriate electricians during service-related jobs.
  12. Ensuring availability of parts and supplies by assessing jobs and determining spare parts/assemblies needed.
  13. Ensuring all tools provided are complete and kept clean at all times.
