Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to join our team at Elite Talent Placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading geological teams and conducting advanced geological research, analysis and fieldwork to support exploration, environmental, engineering or geotechnical projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading geological teams and interpreting complex data
  • Conducting site assessments and analysing soil, rock, and construction materials
  • Developing and implementing QA/QC procedures for geological and geotechnical projects
  • Providing technical expertise in geological risk assessment
  • Preparing detailed reports and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and QA/QC
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and testing methods
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and reporting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
