Job Overview
The Monat Family Entertainment Host plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for families and children at our café. This individual will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and light snacks, ensuring a delightful and engaging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Beverage and Food Preparation:
* Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and mocktails.
* Follow recipes and presentation standards for drinks and food items.
* Create child-friendly drink options, such as flavored milk or non-caffeinated treats.
* Assist with food preparation for light snacks or baked goods (as applicable).

Customer Service:
* Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
* Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
* Address special dietary requests and allergies with care.

Operations and Cleanliness:
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and utensils.
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
* Restock inventory, including syrups, coffee beans, and snacks.

Sales and POS Handling:
* Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
* Upsell café products, promotions, and play packages when appropriate.
* Keep track of daily sales and report to management.

Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with the receptionist and play area staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist in setting up for events or parties as needed.
* Communicate effectively to manage busy periods and special requests.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; barista training is a plus.
* Experience:
• Prior experience as a barista, bartender, or in food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating coffee machines and blenders.

Skills:
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and drink preparation techniques.
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Friendly and energetic personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Creativity in crafting new beverages or garnishes.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Work Environment
This position requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of supplies (up to 25 lbs).
