As a key member of Marbleclear Limited's finance team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring its continued success.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing funds efficiently, identifying investment opportunities, and maintaining liquidity and cash flow.

You will prepare monthly Management Performance Reports (MPRs) and financial statements, as well as regulatory returns on a regular basis. Additionally, you will support month-end and year-end accounting processes, including reconciliation, petty cash management, cost review, and variance analysis.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of funds and investment management, as well as insurance policies, procedures, and regulations. You will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify financial and administrative strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and propose cost-saving and process improvement suggestions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage funds efficiently, identifying investment opportunities and maintaining liquidity and cash flow.
  • Prepare monthly MPRs and financial statements, as well as regulatory returns on a regular basis.
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting processes, including reconciliation, petty cash management, cost review, and variance analysis.
  • Identify financial and administrative strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and propose cost-saving and process improvement suggestions.
  • Review bank reconciliations and control accounts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of funds and investment management, as well as insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify financial and administrative strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This salary estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on factors such as location and industry. However, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave entitlement.
