Materials Handler Lead

In this dynamic role at Bisedge Logistics & Infrastructure, the successful candidate will oversee the efficient handling and storage of materials within our warehouse. As a Materials Handler Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Oversight:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory movements.
• Leadership and Training:
  • Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff on proper material handling procedures and best practices.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety and efficiency in all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Oversee routine maintenance and inspections of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other machinery.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and operated according to manufacturer's instructions and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve shared goals.
