Acquisition Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acquisition Strategist to manage the procurement process at White Crust Limited. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors that align with our business needs.
• Evaluate and negotiate prices with selected suppliers to ensure optimal value for money.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering a collaborative environment that supports our growth goals.
• Manage the procurement process from requisitioning to purchasing and expediting, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
• Analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and develop initiatives to implement these changes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement plans that meet these requirements.

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, ISM) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations, including quality standards and requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills to drive results and build strong relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
