About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Skills Officer to join our team at DAYTONA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about vocational training and wants to make a real difference in the lives of our program participants.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of training and development programs to ensure alignment with our objectives.
  • Collaboration with MasterCraft Persons (MCPs) and trainers to deliver high-quality training.
  • Implementation of the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) standards.
  • Management of training sessions across different clusters.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Effective delivery of training programs.
  • Positive participant feedback and outcomes.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of training performance data.
  • Strong relationships with stakeholders, including MCPs, trainers, and local businesses.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Fashion, Textile Design, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in vocational training or skills development, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
