Professional Security Personnel in Abuja

The Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to safeguard company premises, assets, staff, and customers. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of AKTC terminals, offices, and other premises.

1. Access Control and Perimeter Protection:

• Monitor and control entry and exit points of AKTC premises, verifying the identification of visitors, staff, and vendors to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular security checks on vehicles entering or leaving the company premises.

• Regularly patrol assigned areas, including terminals, parking lots, and office buildings, to ensure security and safety.
• Inspect buildings and equipment to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards and report findings to management.
• Ensure that the premises are secure after working hours, including locking gates, doors, and windows.

• Respond promptly to security breaches, fire alarms, medical emergencies, or any other incident requiring intervention.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and guide emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) to the scene.
• Assist in the evacuation of staff and passengers during emergencies, ensuring safety and order.

• Prepare detailed daily reports on security operations, including incidents, patrols, and any unusual activities.
• Document and report security violations, theft, accidents, or any suspicious occurrences to the Security Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, incidents, and any security-related events.

• Ensure that all company policies and procedures regarding security and safety are strictly followed by staff, visitors, and customers.
• Take disciplinary action against anyone caught violating the company's rules, in accordance with established security protocols.
