Job Overview

Ascentech Services Limited seeks an experienced and organized Data Entry Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance or accounting who can accurately capture and process information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and collect invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients.
  • Scan through information to identify pertinent data.
  • Correct errors and organize the information to optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Create accurate spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Enter and update information into relevant databases.
  • Ensure data is backed up.
  • Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
  • Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.

Requirements:

  • Finance or Accounting background with a maximum of two years' hands-on experience.
  • Minimum of either B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline is also a must.
  • Professional Certification in Microsoft Excel will be a clear advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
