Job Overview
Ascentech Services Limited seeks an experienced and organized Data Entry Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance or accounting who can accurately capture and process information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and collect invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients.
- Scan through information to identify pertinent data.
- Correct errors and organize the information to optimize swift and accurate capturing.
- Create accurate spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Enter and update information into relevant databases.
- Ensure data is backed up.
- Inform relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
- Store hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
Requirements:
- Finance or Accounting background with a maximum of two years' hands-on experience.
- Minimum of either B.Sc. or HND in a relevant discipline is also a must.
- Professional Certification in Microsoft Excel will be a clear advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
