Diesel and Natural Gas Generator Technician

Viju Industires Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled Generator Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of diesel and natural gas generators to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

Key responsibilities include:

• Regular inspections of generators to identify potential issues;
• Troubleshooting and performance optimization of generators in compliance with safety and operational standards;
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements;
• Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out generator components;
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless power supply;

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in generator operations and maintenance;
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems;
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
