Fire Defense Specialist

EKO MAINTENANCE is seeking a highly skilled Fire Defense Specialist to join our team. This critical role involves protecting personnel during emergencies by extinguishing fires, executing rescues, and mitigating chemical spills.

• Conduct surveys and inspections for hazards to prevent fire damage
• Enforce codes to ensure compliance and safety
• Develop and conduct educational and training programs to prepare personnel
• Ensure availability of water at the fire scene by testing hydrants and requesting repairs
• Minimize fire damage by responding to alarms, operating equipment, and regulating water pressure

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in firefighting or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
