About the Job

Ascentech Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the company's financial accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and detailed supplementary schedules.
  • Performing variance analysis and scrutinizing general ledger balances.
  • Reconciling major items in the income statement and balance sheet.
  • Preparing various management reports (regular and ad-hoc).
  • Handling internal and external audits.
  • Supporting other finance sub-functions.
Requirements
  • BSC graduate in accounting or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of the Companies Act and tax laws.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of account payable processes (an added advantage).
  • Supervisory experience and team coordinator experience in a large firm.
  • Tax knowledge and withholding tax knowledge.
