Category Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at BEST SERVICE RAYA. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience through the right assortment, perfect online ergonomics, best prices, and innovative marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a BSC/HND in a relevant or related field and a proven track record in management consulting, venture capital, company creation, or category management (retail). Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is essential, as well as the ability to analyze large data sets to make strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategy for future growth by building the most pertinent assortment of products and collaborating with buyer teams to execute instructions
• Increase gross margin by taking responsibility for company's price position and negotiating costs with suppliers
• Meet with main suppliers to discuss product offerings and pricing
• Design and implement a user-friendly interface, working closely with shop management teams (marketing) to create banners, new filters, and enhance the category tree
• Establish plans to present to top management on strategic decisions, including price points, marketing strategies, and product sourcing
• Manage replenishment and inventory tools for stock monitoring and create campaigns to drive sales
• Identify and promote best sellers to drive market leadership and strengthen company's position as the leader in online retail

Requirements:

• BSC/HND in a relevant or related field
• Previous experience in management consulting, venture capital, company creation, or category management (retail)
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
• Ability to analyze large data sets to make strategic decisions
• Action-oriented and results-driven
• Strong analytical skills
