French Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced French Teacher to join our dedicated team at School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective French language lessons for secondary school students, aligned with the Nigerian/British Curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters a love for the French language and culture.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote language acquisition.
  • Prepare students for external French language examination (IGCSE, W.A.E.C).

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, B.Ed, TRCN) with French specialization.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching French in a secondary school setting.
  • Fluency in French and English, with a strong understanding of French pedagogy.
  • A passion for languages and the ability to inspire young learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • A commitment to professional development and staying current with curriculum developments.
  • Experience with the Nigerian and British Curriculum.
