At SAMBUS GEOSPATIAL LIMITED, we are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys and performing complex measurements to determine property boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys and perform precise measurements to establish accurate property boundaries.
• Prepare detailed sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles.
• Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
• Coordinate findings with engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other stakeholders involved in projects.
• Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain necessary data for surveys.
• Establish fixed points for use in making maps using geodetic and engineering instruments.
• Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and tools (e.g., theodolites, levels, GPS).
• Strong understanding of mapping and legal property descriptions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional Surveyor (P.S.) license preferred.
