Job Summary:

EKO MAINTENANCE seeks a qualified Plumbing Parts Coordinator to coordinate the receipt, storage, and issuance of plumbing parts. The ideal candidate will have technical storekeeping experience and a wide knowledge of plumbing parts, electrical parts, mechanical parts, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store plumbing parts in a secure and organized manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all items in the store, including plumbing parts.
  • Administer stored items with care and caution, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions and external customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the storage area to uphold high standards of hygiene and workplace safety.
  • Utilize computerized inventory management systems to track stock movements, generate reports, and analyze trends for informed decision-making.
  • Provide support during inventory counts, reconciliations, and year-end audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials if applicable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
