About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Expert to oversee purchasing activities for our local restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all purchased items are cost-efficient and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise employees and manage all activities of the purchasing department
  • Develop plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
  • Evaluate and enforce company procurement policies and procedures
  • Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased
  • Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
  • Maintain supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain good supplier relations
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers
Requirements
  • Degree in accounting, business management, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience as a sourcing expert or in a similar position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Supervisory and management experience
