About the Role:
The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and portion control. This includes using various cooking methods such as grilling, baking, frying, and steaming. The Cook will also be responsible for monitoring food quality and temperature to ensure safety and freshness. Additionally, they will be required to plate and garnish dishes attractively for presentation, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and follow proper food handling and safety procedures. The Cook may also be required to assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies, and may be required to train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
