Network Infrastructure Specialist

Company Overview: ipNX is a leading provider of telecommunications services, and we are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to deploy carrier-grade network infrastructure and services for our enterprise customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities required to fulfill and support network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, optimize, and maintain network connectivity infrastructure and systems
• Safeguard performance, capacity, availability, and quality of the ipNX network by monitoring emerging incidents and initiating preventive actions
• Recommend areas of improvement, product enhancements, and new platforms, features, and services that meet present and future needs
• Offer pre-sales support and provide accompanying proposals and design documents with optimal and cost-effective solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BSC Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related disciplines (2.1/Upper Credit Minimum)
• Cisco network certification is required
• Good grasp of Wireline & Wireless Installations, IP Planning, RF Planning, Network Design, Installation, and Maintenance
• High degree of Microsoft Office Suite competence
• Fluent English
• Exemplary communication skills
• At least 3 years of experience within the telecoms space as a Network/Communications Engineer
• Good understanding of computer networks and some aspects of project management
