Role Description- The Account Manager will work closely with the Financial Controller to administer the company's financial accounts.
- This includes preparing monthly financial statements, performing variance analysis, and reconciling major items in the income statement and balance sheet.
- The successful candidate will also prepare various management reports and handle internal and external audits.
- BSC graduate in accounting or a related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in IFRS.
- Good knowledge of the Companies Act and tax laws.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of account payable processes (an added advantage).
- Supervisory experience and team coordinator experience in a large firm.
- Tax knowledge and withholding tax knowledge.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and detailed supplementary schedules.
- Variance analysis and scrutiny of general ledger balances.
- Reconciliation of major items in the income statement and balance sheet.
- Preparation of various management reports.
- Handling internal and external audits.
- Supporting other finance sub-functions.
