Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, location, and condition.
  • Administering stored items with care and caution, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinating with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions and external customer orders accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Techncial storekeeping experience and a wide knowledge of plumbing parts, electrical parts, mechanical parts etc.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proximity to the workplace is preferred for efficient and timely attendance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials if applicable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
