Job Description

The role of the Electrical Systems Specialist at Aren Paper Mills Ltd is to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the paper mill.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems, motors, transformers, and panels in the mill.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production equipment to ensure continuous operation.
  • Replace faulty components such as switches, fuses, and wiring as needed.

Installation and Setup:

  • Install new electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Assist in setting up and testing machinery during installations.

Troubleshooting & Compliance:

  • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to locate and resolve faults efficiently.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Update technical drawings, schematics, and manuals as changes are made to electrical systems.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to support the mill's operations.
  • Report recurring electrical issues to supervisors and suggest long-term solutions.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the reliability of electrical systems.
