Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team at Elevated HR Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Your responsibilities will include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. You will also be responsible for providing accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our client business while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections to support business decision-making.
• Publish financial statements on time and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, providing insights into business performance.
• Report on the company's financial health and liquidity, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Audit financial transactions and documents, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups as necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Requirements and Skills:

• BSc in Accounting or Finance with a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of working experience as an Accountant in a Cooperative or Financial Institution is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with general ledger functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work accurately under pressure.

Salary: The salary for this position is attractive and depends on experience and suitability, ranging from £50,000 to £80,000 per annum.
