Heating and Cooling Technician

EKO MAINTENANCE seeks a highly skilled Heating and Cooling Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

The Heating and Cooling Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues with HVAC equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
• Brazing of copper pipes and insulation of ducts for maximum efficiency.
• Routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems, including refrigeration systems, split air conditioning units, VRV systems, and heating pumps.
• Collaboration with team members to complete projects and address repairs promptly and effectively.
• Maintenance of accurate records of equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and daily logs.
• Resolution of customer inquiries and technical issues regarding HVAC systems.
• Adherence to safety guidelines, appliance standards, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (HSE).

• A minimum of HND/OND qualification in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in working with various HVAC systems like air conditioners, refrigeration units, and heating pumps.
• Strong skills in connecting pipes, brazing copper pipes, and insulating ducts effectively.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies in the HVAC field.
