About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Petroleum Exploration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our exploration team, you will be responsible for the analysis and interpretation of geoscience data to support field exploration decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of geophysical and geological data to identify potential areas of interest
• Integration of geologic and geophysical data to optimize prospect evaluation and ranking
• Development of 3D geological models and simulations to support exploration planning
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geoscience data into business decision-making processes
• Identification of opportunities for improved exploration efficiency and effectiveness
• Review and update of existing maps and databases to ensure accuracy and relevance

Requirements

• Proven track record in petroleum exploration, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Advanced degree in geology or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and geoscience software packages (e.g., Petrel, Schlumberger Eclipse)
