About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bids & Tender Manager to join our team at AIM Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue expansion in architecture and engineering consultancy services.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, manage relationships with key stakeholders, oversee contract management, and lead teams to achieve organizational goals. You will work closely with technical teams to optimize chances of securing new business and develop innovative strategies to enhance client acquisition and satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent negotiation and contract management skills, as well as proven leadership and team management abilities. You should also possess a strong understanding of business development principles and be able to analyze complex business data to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to secure them
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders and building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Overseeing contract management and negotiations, ensuring alignment between client requirements and company goals
- Collaborating with technical teams to optimize chances of securing new business

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Advanced degree or certifications in Business Development or Contract Management is a plus)
  • Proven Industry Experience (7-10 years)
  • Extensive Market Knowledge in Nigeria and Africa
  • Project Acquisition Expertise
  • International Experience & Multinational Client Handling
  • Proposal and Tender Management Expertise
  • Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
  • Strong Negotiation & Contract Management Skills
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Professional Certification
  • Membership with COREN, COMEG, CORBON, or similar certifications will be advantageous.
