Mechanical Engineer

AIM Consultants Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and drafting building mechanical services from conceptual to completion stage.

• Preparation of tender documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities
• Participation in tender technical analysis and negotiations
• Review and approval of workshop drawings for construction
• Supervision of construction and installation works of building mechanical services
• Liaison with Project Managers, Architects, and other engineers to coordinate design of engineering projects
• Preparation and submission of project and progress reports as appropriate
• Preparation of test procedure plans, supervision of test on electromechanical equipment, and certification of test results
• Supervision of equipment commissioning programs and sign-off

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position
• Appropriate selection of equipment, including HVAC load calculations, duct and pipe sizing
• Tender documents preparation, including detailed drawings and BOQs
• Preparation, design supervision of operational maintenance manuals for electromechanical equipment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience in plumbing design
• Review of workshop drawings for construction
• In-depth knowledge of codes and standards for designing building mechanical services

• Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook)
• AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, PDMS
• Design software (Primavera Project Planner)
• Good command of the English language (oral and written)
