Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mobile applications using Swift and Kotlin.
  • Implement custom UI components and animations to enhance user experience.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring smooth operation on all devices.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs, WebSocket connections, and other services.
  • Work closely with the iOS and Android teams to ensure feature parity and consistent user experience across platforms.
  • Develop and implement algorithms to optimize mobile app performance, including data processing, network communication, and UI rendering.
  • Monitor app performance using tools like Xcode Instruments and Android Profiler, and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests to ensure high code quality, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment, and ensure that the mobile applications are continuously updated and deployed with zero downtime.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development using Swift and Android development using Kotlin.
  • Proven experience in algorithm development and problem-solving in mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with integrating backend services, including RESTful APIs, WebSocket connections, and push notifications.
  • Proficient in Swift and Kotlin, and strong knowledge of Xcode, Android Studio, and other mobile development tools.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools, and familiarity with mobile security best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cross-platform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
  • Knowledge of mobile application accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based services like Firebase or AWS Mobile Hub.

Lorgarithm offers a competitive salary of #600,000 - #1,000,000, based on experience, and a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days at our Lagos, Nigeria office and 3 days remotely.
