Global Women Empowerment Coordinator

The Global Peace Development (GPD) organization invites applications from qualified individuals to fill the role of Global Women Empowerment Coordinator. This position is part of our efforts to promote women's empowerment and leadership in Nigeria.

This role involves coordinating programs aimed at promoting women's empowerment and leadership. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing programs to promote women's empowerment
• Mentoring women-led organizations
• BUILDING CAPACITY IN PEACEBUILDING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

GPD is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in April 2002 with a focus on promoting peace for development in Nigeria. Our vision is to create a society where peace and development are enjoyed by all.

We work in ten states across Nigeria, focusing on program areas such as Gender Equality, Conflict Prevention and Peace Building, Democracy and Governance, Environment and Community Health, and Sustainable Development.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Be legally registered in Nigeria and operate in one of the following states: Yobe, Kano, Kaduna, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Abuja, and Taraba
• Have experience in project implementation in peacebuilding, community development, gender equality, or related fields
• Demonstrate a track record of accountability, transparency, and financial management
• Have the capacity to implement and monitor community-based interventions effectively
