We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our dynamic nursing team in a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of modern nursing practices, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee nursing teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to foster professional development and adherence to best practices
- Set clear goals and expectations for nursing staff, promoting a high-performance culture
- Manage performance appraisals, supporting merit-based compensation and promotion systems
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and organizational standards
- Oversee the implementation of modern nursing procedures, driving innovation and efficiency
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as necessary
- Manage nursing budgets and resources to optimize department operations
- Foster a positive work environment and facilitate team-building activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports on nursing staff and patient care
Qualifications/Experience:
- 10 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior nursing leadership position
- Valid practicing nursing license
- Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Experience using Health Management Systems
Salary Information:
Negotiable salary up to N800,000.00 per annum, depending on skill and experience level
