Storekeeper Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper Coordinator to join our team at Eko Maintenance Limited. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and conditions against delivery documents and manifests.
• Store goods in a secure and organized manner, using appropriate labeling and categorization techniques.
• Process outgoing shipments, including generating shipping documents and arranging transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking movement, usage, and disposal of goods.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of store operations with overall business objectives.

Requirements:
• Must have technical storekeeping experience and a wide knowledge of plumbing parts, electrical parts, mechanical parts, etc.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proximity to the workplace is preferred for efficient and timely attendance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and MS Office applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for handling and storing various types of items, including hazardous materials if applicable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
