Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Intern Pharmacist to join our team at Adeola. This role provides hands-on experience in a community pharmacy environment, where you will assist with daily operations and gain valuable insights into pharmaceutical care.

About the Role

As an Intern Pharmacist, you will be responsible for assisting in dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and supporting the preparation and compounding of prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • Support the preparation and compounding of prescriptions.
  • Offer medication counseling and answer patient queries under supervision.
  • Manage inventory, including stock rotation and checking for expired items.
  • Help with administrative tasks and maintaining accurate pharmacy records.
  • Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities as directed.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and completion of induction. You should also possess basic knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and community pharmacy operations.
