Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to produce high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and other items.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of goods, such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and guidelines.

Measure and mix ingredients to create doughs, batters, and fillings, ensuring accuracy and precision.

Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Decorate cakes and pastries to meet customer specifications or design themes, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the team to restock ingredients, ensuring timely delivery of products.

Ensure that all baked goods are prepared on time for customer orders or display, meeting production goals and customer demands.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of producing high-quality baked goods.

Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and food safety practices, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Creativity and a keen eye for detail in decorating and presentation, with the ability to interpret customer designs and preferences.

Ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
