Creative Space Planner

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in interior design to lead our design projects. As an Interior Designer at Eko Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on design options, materials, and furnishings.

You will create layouts to maximize space and functionality while adhering to design requirements. You will also coordinate structural elements such as walls and flooring to align with the client's vision, ensuring designs comply with building codes and safety standards.

In this role, you will develop design concepts and visual presentations to help clients envision the final look. You will utilize tools like CAD or design software to create 2D/3D renderings of proposed designs.

You will recommend furniture, fixtures, lighting, and materials that align with the design concept. You will assist clients in selecting color schemes, textures, and overall palette.

You will oversee contractors, electricians, painters, and other trades involved in the project. You will ensure the design is executed according to the plan. You will conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

You will incorporate client feedback and make adjustments to the design as requested. You will present the final design upon completion and ensure client satisfaction.

• Proficiency in design software (CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of color theory, lighting, and materials
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards

A Diploma in interior design or Bachelor's degree in any related field is required. Professional certification may be required. Previous experience in a design-related role is essential.
