Job Description:

The Sales Director will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies to meet revenue targets and market share goals. This role requires leadership skills, business acumen, and a strong understanding of solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the solar industry.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
* Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles, with a strong focus on the solar or renewable energy industry
* Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets
* Comprehensive understanding of solar energy solutions, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage, and related technologies
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with overarching business goals
* Proficient in using CRM tools and leveraging data-driven techniques to enhance sales performance
