Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver to join our team at GMAS LIMITED. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safe driving and excellent time management skills.

This is a key role within our organization, requiring a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting employees and goods safely and efficiently.

1. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
2. Delivery and Collection: Deliver packages and other items to customers in a timely manner, if applicable.
3. Administrative Tasks: Pick up office purchases and other administrative needs as required.
4. Vehicle Repairs: Arrange for vehicle repairs when necessary.
5. Mileage Records: Update monthly mileage records accurately.
6. Travel Schedule: Maintain an organized travel schedule to optimize routes and reduce downtime.
7. Fuel Management: Ensure that vehicles have sufficient fuel at all times and are always ready for use.
8. Document Management: Monitor vehicle documents expiration and renewal dates.

• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• A clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS devices, Google Maps, and similar phone apps.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods in Ibadan and interstate routes.
• A polite and professional disposition.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., during rush hour).
• Appropriate dressing during work hours.
• Good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Knowledge of required vehicle documents.
