Job Title: Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at Jimlad Dev Limited in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse or storage facility.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between ₦150,000 - ₦250,000 per month, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forklift Operations:
    • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials.
    • Transport goods to designated areas within the facility or onto transport vehicles.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Assist in inventory control by keeping track of product movements.
    • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Safety and Maintenance:
    • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
    • Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating the forklift.
  • General Duties:
    • Keep the work area clean and organized.
    • Assist in manual loading/unloading when required.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license (as per local regulations).
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
  • Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
