Job Title: Machine Operator - Coil Wire Specialist

Location: Ikorodu, Ogijo Area

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Ascentech Services Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines that cut and shape coiled wire to produce high-quality nails.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

• Set up machines to cut and shape coiled wire to specified sizes
• Install and secure die plates and nail-point cutting knives, and position feeding mechanisms
• Mount coils of wire on rods and thread wire through straightening rollers, feeding mechanisms, and into slots of die plates
• Tighten roller bolts to secure wire, using wrenches, and turn flywheels to produce sample nails
• Measure nails with split gauges or micrometers and inspect for flaws, such as chips and distortions

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to plan, organize, lead, and control production processes to achieve quality products while minimizing waste.
