We are seeking a skilled Freight Transport Coordinator to join our team at Plugzone online.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing efficient transportation routes to deliver goods to clients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and optimize daily driving routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
  • Pick up and deliver goods to clients in Lagos and surrounding areas.
  • Assist clients with loading and unloading their goods, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Stay up-to-date on traffic laws and road conditions to avoid accidents and delays.
  • Adjust routes as needed to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles and ensure all necessary documents are in order.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in Lagos.
  • Able to drive manual vehicles.
  • Familiarity with Lagos roads, areas, and neighborhoods.
  • Polite and professional disposition.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for growth and development.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around 300,000 - 500,000 Naira per month, depending on experience.
