Financial Analyst Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our finance team at The OluSAsh as an unpaid intern. This opportunity is designed to provide valuable, real-world experience in various aspects of finance, including financial analysis, reporting, bookkeeping, consulting, and advisory.

1. Organize, classify, and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, highlighting key trends and insights.
3. Support the team with data entry, budgeting, and financial forecasting, utilizing your analytical skills to inform business decisions.
4. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and optimal cash flow.
5. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on financial trends, sharing your perspectives and ideas.
6. Support compliance tasks, including preparing reports for regulatory agencies, and contribute to the development of financial processes and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Ordinary National Diploma Holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, with prior internship or academic experience in finance a plus.
