Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Specialist at Sambus Geospatial Limited, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities and following the Sambus Sales Cycle to achieve annual sales targets.

Key Account Management

  • Network and build connections to develop new accounts and build a potential sale pipeline.
  • Develop a sales document, prepare quotes, and complete sales-related administration tasks.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Provide outstanding after-sales services to clients and manage client relationships to ensure positive customer satisfaction reviews.
  • Achieve a minimum 4-star rating (4 out of 5) in the assigned vertical.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with the Finance & Operations Unit and the Tech team to ensure products are ordered and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Drive repeat sales by checking customer purchase history and cross-selling and/or upselling clients.

Professional Development

  • Keep product knowledge and technical skills up to date by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and career development programs.
  • Accept ownership for generating, maintaining, and expanding sales and value-addition services in the assigned vertical.

Reporting and Feedback

  • Produce periodic operational reports to the line manager and provide feedback on market and customer developments that Sambus needs to respond to.
  • Conduct client and vertical research to stay up to date on industry developments and trends to build expertise and serve clients/potential clients better.
